CyberKnife - Cutting Edge Technology @ HCA!
Out of only a handful facilities in the state of Florida, HCA is proud to offer CyberKnife radiosurgery at several facilities out of their network: Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida near Orlando, Brandon Regional Hospital, southeast of Tampa, St. Petersburg General Hospital, southwest of Tampa, Florida.
While CyberKnife is used for general surgeries at St. Petersburg General Hospital, Brandon Regional Hospital is using it for prostatectomies & Central Florida Hospital precisely directs targeted radiation to tumors with it.
Central Florida Regional is one of only about 100 centers in the nation using CyberKnife! More than 35,000 patients worldwide have received a CyberKnife treatment.

HCA contributes $95K to Greenhouse in Leesburg!
Today, I am proud to learn that our affiliate hospital Broadlands Regional Medical Center has made a generous contribution in the amount of $95,000.00 fora new Healing Garden for the Friendship House in Leesburg, VA!
The greenhouse has been added to extend the garden’s growing season, so it can be used year-round. Gardens have long been cherished for their therapeutic qualities and as sources of healing & today Loudoun County’s Friendship House will gather to celebrate the opening of their new Healing Garden greenhouse.
