Talk vs. Type - What Are We Missing?

The other day I was gathering magazines to discard.  I had every intention of reading every copy, but was never able to find the time to do so.  One of the magazine cover articles caught my eye, so I turned to the page.  After skimming it over (because I did not have enough time to read [...]

Trauma Center Application & Nurse Lead Recruiter Introduction

I am as excited as everyone else is in our Division since we learned of the latest news! Today’s post has been penned by our Nurse Lead Recruiter, Richard Moore, who recruits for our Nursing management opportunities. Currently Rich is looking to fill a Director Critical Care @ BRH; Nurse Manager Surgical Services @ BRH; Nursing Supervisor / House Admin @ ECH, and in the near future two VP Trauma Program opportunities for RMCBP & Blake.

Here’s Rich’s post:

HCA West Florida to apply for Level II Trauma Center designation!

Two facilities of HCA West Florida are excited to begin the process of application for Level II Trauma Center status. Both facilities are located in Trauma Service Areas with no current Trauma Centers. We look forward to taking our services to the high level required for Trauma Center designation. Becoming a Trauma Center requires the dedication of the entire hospital and staff from transporting the patients to the trauma surgeons. The trauma team will encompass most departments including Emergency, Surgical Services, Critical Care, Laboratory, Radiology and Social Services. To drive the application process we are seeking two Vice Presidents of Trauma. We are extremely proud to be taking this major step in serving our communities.

Great news!

Cheers,

Be Your True Self

I really like Halloween.  I always have. The opportunity to pretend for a moment you are someone else is fun.  Getting candy for playing dress up is a bonus.  Our kids had a great time this year.  When it came to trick-or-treating, they did not mess around.  They had some serious candy collection strategies, braving the [...]
