HCA Responds to Haiti Earthquake

Watching the news over the last few days has been heart breaking.  The images of devastation in Haiti from the recent earthquake is shocking.  Our company has recognized the need to help.  HCA has committed $1 million in cash and donations to assist with the relief efforts.  The Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders will receive the donations. 

HCA has organized ways for our employees to donate as well.  In addition, employees in need as a result of this emergency can consider the Hope Fund.  To date the Hope Fund has helped 9,000+ families with $9.7 million in aid distributed.  This unique benefit is about compassion and community, which is the core of our business.  To learn more about this wonderful program, please visit http://www.hcahopefund.org/.   It is refreshing to work for an organization that takes care of its employees in their greatest time of need.  That is not something you find very often.
