Hilary Kantor
Hilary KantorHello and Welcome. I am the Nurse Recruiter for the Hillsborough Market of HCA West Florida. I partner with both Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida and South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center. Hospital Corporation of America or HCA is the largest organization I have worked for and has so much to offer. HCA is a company that really values its employees and encourages them to grow.
I am a Tampa native and received my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications - Public Relations from the University of South Florida in 1996. I have been working in the field of Human Resources prior to receiving my undergraduate degree. During my career I have worked in the healthcare, finance and technology industries. My primary area of expertise is in employment. My special skills are in selection, salary negotiation, sourcing, employee relations, compensation, employment law and employment branding. I have also worked as a HR Generalist focusing on employee relations, benefits and payroll. I received my Professional Human Resource (PHR) designation in 2005.
My favorite thing about being a Recruiter is that it is very rewarding job. It is helping people find the right opportunity, at the right time in their lives. It is offering someone a position that fits what they are looking for now and continues to challenge them in the future. This is what drives me forward and what also makes me happy at the end of the day.
Julie Davis
Julie DavisHi! My name is Julie and I am originally from Germany, moved to Florida in ’97 & became a proud citizen in ’03. I always had a special interest in Human Resources & worked in several occupations under this umbrella. Though recruiting has always been my passion! I truly enjoy those experiences where I was able to make a difference in one’s life. Either by helping them advance interviewing for the job of their dreams - the job with better benefits - the job with better pay – or their first job period!
I am a true believer that HR is the heart of any organization! I pride myself with finding the best candidate for the job so that we can succeed as a team! I am new to the Healthcare industry but I have been getting my feed wet for almost a year now. Previously I have serviced the Financial industry. It’s not the economy which has led me to switch industries, but rather a personal interest to keep growing.
I have come to love the Healthcare industry & I have won a great appreciation for all the healthcare professionals who nurture the ill in their darkest or happiest hours of their lives! They are MY living heroes, doing the unthinkable in 12-hours shifts!
